4. Microfiber cloth

A good microfiber cloth can work wonders. Not only does it collect dust from all kinds of surfaces: it also grips dust particles well and does not leave them free again in the air. Therefore, it is an essential element in every home.

5. Light bulbs

With the heat, the dust stays very close to the bulbs. To remove the strongest layers of dust, dab a bit of cleaning alcohol on a cloth and rub the bulb with it. The difference will be surprising. But before doing so, turn off the lamp, wait for it to cool, and unscrew the bulb from the lamp.

6. Artificial plants

Dust settles especially quickly on artificial plants and is often difficult to remove. To make them shine again, take a cloth and a drop of mayonnaise. Rub the leaves of the plants with this to dust them off and make them look like new again.
