In 2002, SOE Antananarivo lost to AS Adema 0: 149 in Madagascar. The reason: SOE started shooting in protest against a decision by the referee’s own goals. After each kick-off, they simply shot the ball into their own goal – for the entire season.

6) Women’s football was officially banned in Germany until 1970?
In Germany, women’s sport had many opponents from the start. In 1955, the DFB (German Football Association / Deutscher Fußball-Bund ) banned women’s football. Most of the athletes then continued to play outside of the clubs. It wasn’t until 1970 that they were officially allowed to do so again – with conditions: initially, women were only allowed to play with studded shoes for 70 minutes and (due to the alleged risks of injury).
